The work The Seductive Gaze by Maurice Randall was sold in the MARITIME PICTURES AND WATERCOLOURS auction at Christies in London in June 2005. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 384.00 (€ 569.11), 28% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Maurice Randall have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Volendam harbour in January 2001 with an auction result of NLG 9,400.00 (€ 4,113.26).

Die Arbeit The Seductive Gaze von Maurice Randall wurde im Juni 2005 in der Auktion MARITIME PICTURES AND WATERCOLOURS bei Christies in London versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 384,00 (€ 569,11) und damit 28% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Maurice Randall auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Volendam harbour im Januar 2001 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von NLG 9.400,00 (€ 4.113,26).
