In April 2016 Sothebys in Hong Kong held the auction Modern and Contemporary Southeast Asian Art, which included the work Scene De Port Dans Le Sud De La Chine (Boat Quay Scene In South Of China) by Maurice Menardeau. The result of HKD 40,000.00 (€ 4,506.60) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of HKD 40,000.00 – 60,000.00.
