Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Three Figures in an Abstract Landscape 24 x 20 in. unframed by Maurice August Del Mue was auctioned at Bonhams in Los Angeles in December last year. It changed hands for a price of USD 2,805.00 (€ 2,621.99) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Maurice August Del Mue - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Spring Fog near Pt. Reyes-Marin County, which sold at auction in August 2020 for USD 9,000.00 (€ 7,540.21).

Die Arbeit Three Figures in an Abstract Landscape 24 x 20 in. unframed von Maurice August Del Mue kam im Dezember letzten Jahres bei Bonhams in Los Angeles zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von USD 2.805,00 (€ 2.621,99) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 2.000,00 – 3.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Maurice August Del Mue mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Spring Fog near Pt. Reyes-Marin County beobachtet, die im August 2020 für USD 9.000,00 (€ 7.540,21) versteigert wurde.
