Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Monterey Pine; Sea Coast - Pacific Grove (a group of two) by Maurice August Del Mue was auctioned at Bonhams in Los Angeles in December 2021. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 3,500.00 – 5,500.00, the actual price achieved of USD 3,570.00 (€ 3,154.27) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Maurice August Del Mue - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Spring Fog near Pt. Reyes-Marin County, which sold at auction in August 2020 for USD 9,000.00 (€ 7,540.21).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Monterey Pine; Sea Coast - Pacific Grove (a group of two) von Maurice August Del Mue kam im Dezember 2021 bei Bonhams in Los Angeles zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von USD 3.500,00 – 5.500,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von USD 3.570,00 (€ 3.154,27) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Für andere Arbeiten von Maurice August Del Mue mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Spring Fog near Pt. Reyes-Marin County beobachtet, die im August 2020 für USD 9.000,00 (€ 7.540,21) versteigert wurde.
