Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Still life of oysters by Maurice Asselin was sold in the BRITISH AND CONTINENTAL PICTURES auction at Christies in London in September 2000. The price achieved of GBP 822.50 (€ 1,376.29) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 700.00 – 900.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Maurice Asselin - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Nu Assis, which sold at auction in December 2007 for EUR 5,250.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Still life of oysters von Maurice Asselin wurde im September 2000 in der Auktion BRITISH AND CONTINENTAL PICTURES bei Christies in London versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 822,50 (€ 1.376,29) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 700,00 – 900,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Maurice Asselin mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Nu Assis beobachtet, die im Dezember 2007 für EUR 5.250,00 versteigert wurde.
