The work Femme lisant by Maurice Asselin was auctioned at Christies in Paris in October 2007. It achieved a price of EUR 187.50 exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 25 %. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Maurice Asselin achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Nu Assis in December 2007 with an auction result of EUR 5,250.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um 25 % übertroffen
Die Arbeit Femme lisant von Maurice Asselin kam im Oktober 2007 bei Christies in Paris zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von EUR 187,50 und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 25 %. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Maurice Asselin erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Nu Assis im Dezember 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 5.250,00.
