Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Still life of eggs, vegetables and a coffee pot by Maurice Asselin was sold in the BRITISH AND CONTINENTAL PICTURES auction at Christies in London in September 2000. The price achieved of GBP 587.50 (€ 983.07) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 500.00 – 700.00. Admittedly, works by Maurice Asselin have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Nu Assis in December 2007 with an auction result of EUR 5,250.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Still life of eggs, vegetables and a coffee pot von Maurice Asselin wurde im September 2000 in der Auktion BRITISH AND CONTINENTAL PICTURES bei Christies in London versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 587,50 (€ 983,07) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 500,00 – 700,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Maurice Asselin auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Nu Assis im Dezember 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 5.250,00.
