Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Happy Birthday Cabinet Cabinet Happy Birthday by Mattia Bonetti was sold in the Important Design auction at Sothebys in Paris in June 2020. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of EUR 24,000.00 – 28,000.00, the actual price achieved of EUR 25,000.00 could thus just exceed the lower estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Mattia Bonetti - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Odyssée Sideboard [Cabinet Odyssée|AID325423], which sold at auction in June 2020 for EUR 56,250.00.

Die Arbeit Happy Birthday Cabinet Cabinet Happy Birthday von Mattia Bonetti wurde im Juni 2020 in der Auktion Important Design bei Sothebys in Paris versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 24.000,00 – 28.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von EUR 25.000,00 konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Für andere Arbeiten von Mattia Bonetti mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Odyssée Sideboard [Cabinet Odyssée|AID325423] beobachtet, die im Juni 2020 für EUR 56.250,00 versteigert wurde.
