Upper estimated price slightly exceeded

The »bidding war« ended at GBP 27,500.00 (€ 32,504.78), 25% above the upper estimate. Other works by Matthew Monahan have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of USD 92,000.00 (€ 59,125.96) in May 2008 for the work Morning Thaw.
