Auction result well in line with expectations
In April this year Christies in Hong Kong held the auction NO REGRETS: 20th/21st Century Art Online Sale, which included the work Rata En Un Trigal (Rat in the Wheat Field) by Matías Sánchez. The price achieved of HKD 13,860.00 (€ 14,153.77) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 10,000.00 – 20,000.00. Admittedly, works by Matías Sánchez have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Partisanos El Amuerzo (Painted In 2020) in April this year with an auction result of HKD 108,000.00 (€ 110,289.13).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im April diesen Jahres führte Christies in Hong Kong die Auktion NO REGRETS: 20th/21st Century Art Online Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Rata En Un Trigal (Rat in the Wheat Field) von Matías Sánchez zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 13.860,00 (€ 14.153,77) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 10.000,00 – 20.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Matías Sánchez auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Partisanos El Amuerzo (Painted In 2020) im April diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 108.000,00 (€ 110.289,13).
