Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Matisse by Matías Sánchez was auctioned at Phillips in an online auction in November last year. The price achieved of GBP 5,670.00 (€ 6,570.24) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Matías Sánchez achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Partisanos El Amuerzo (Painted In 2020) in April this year with an auction result of HKD 108,000.00 (€ 110,289.13).

Die Arbeit Matisse von Matías Sánchez kam im November letzten Jahres bei Phillips in einer Online-Auktion zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 5.670,00 (€ 6.570,24) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 5.000,00 – 7.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Matías Sánchez erzielen.
