In December last year Christies in Hong Kong held the auction No Regrets: 20th/21st Century Art Online, which included the work El Dramaturgo by Matías Sánchez. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 63,000.00 (€ 7,549.64), 26% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Matías Sánchez achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Partisanos El Amuerzo (Painted In 2020) in April this year with an auction result of HKD 108,000.00 (€ 110,289.13).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 26 % übertroffen
Im Dezember letzten Jahres führte Christies in Hong Kong die Auktion No Regrets: 20th/21st Century Art Online durch, in der auch die Arbeit El Dramaturgo von Matías Sánchez zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 63.000,00 (€ 7.549,64) und damit 26% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Matías Sánchez erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Partisanos El Amuerzo (Painted In 2020) im April diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 108.000,00 (€ 110.289,13).
