The »bidding war« ended at HKD 27,720.00 (€ 3,331.00), 39% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Matías Sánchez achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Partisanos El Amuerzo (Painted In 2020) in April this year with an auction result of HKD 108,000.00 (€ 110,289.13).

Die Arbeit Buho von Matías Sánchez wurde im Februar diesen Jahres in der Auktion What Now?: Online Auction bei Phillips in einer Online-Auktion versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 27.720,00 (€ 3.331,00) und damit 39% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Matías Sánchez erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Partisanos El Amuerzo (Painted In 2020) im April diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 108.000,00 (€ 110.289,13).
