Auction result misses estimated price range
In December 2019 a collector was able to acquire the work Le Saucier by Mathew Cerletty for GBP 9,375.00 (€ 11,080.15). This price was achieved in the auction New Now at Phillips in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 10,000.00 – 15,000.00 set by the auction house. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Mathew Cerletty - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Thank You, which sold at auction in October 2018 for GBP 30,000.00 (€ 33,830.74).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Dezember 2019 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Le Saucier von Mathew Cerletty für GBP 9.375,00 (€ 11.080,15) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion New Now bei Phillips in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 10.000,00 – 15.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Mathew Cerletty mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Thank You beobachtet, die im Oktober 2018 für GBP 30.000,00 (€ 33.830,74) versteigert wurde.
