A top price for Mat Collishaw
This artwork by Mat Collishaw achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in London in March 2019. In the The George Michael Collection Online Auction auction, the work Leda and the Swan sold for GBP 17,500.00 (€ 20,311.72) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 7,000.00. This high result makes Leda and the Swan the most expensive artwork by Mat Collishaw that we have observed at auctions so far.
