Auction result well in line with expectations
In October 2016 Christies in Dubai held the auction Modern & Contemporary Art, which included this untitled work by Massoud Arabshahi. It changed hands for a price of USD 11,875.00 (€ 10,832.88) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Massoud Arabshahi achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work without title in April 2008 with an auction result of USD 277,000.00 (€ 177,929.09).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Oktober 2016 führte Christies in Dubai die Auktion Modern & Contemporary Art durch, in der auch diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Massoud Arabshahi zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von USD 11.875,00 (€ 10.832,88) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 8.000,00 – 12.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Massoud Arabshahi erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit ohne Titel im April 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 277.000,00 (€ 177.929,09).
