Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Massoud Arabshahi achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Dubai in October 2016. In the Modern & Contemporary Art auction, the work without title sold for USD 13,750.00 (€ 12,543.33) - well above the upper estimate of USD 6,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Massoud Arabshahi achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work without title in April 2008 with an auction result of USD 277,000.00 (€ 177,929.09).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Massoud Arabshahi erzielte im Oktober 2016 bei Christies in Dubai einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Modern & Contemporary Art wurde diese Arbeit ohne Titel für USD 13.750,00 (€ 12.543,33) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 6.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Massoud Arabshahi erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit ohne Titel im April 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 277.000,00 (€ 177.929,09).
