Auction result well in line with expectations
This work without title by Massoud Arabshahi was auctioned at Christies in Dubai in April 2013. The price achieved of USD 22,500.00 (€ 17,086.88) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 20,000.00 – 25,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Massoud Arabshahi achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work without title in April 2008 with an auction result of USD 277,000.00 (€ 177,929.09).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Massoud Arabshahi kam im April 2013 bei Christies in Dubai zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 22.500,00 (€ 17.086,88) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 20.000,00 – 25.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Massoud Arabshahi erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit ohne Titel im April 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 277.000,00 (€ 177.929,09).
