Auction result well in line with expectations
This work without title by Massoud Arabshahi was auctioned at Sothebys in London in March 2020. The price achieved of GBP 35,000.00 (€ 39,522.17) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 30,000.00 – 40,000.00. Admittedly, works by Massoud Arabshahi have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work without title in April 2008 with an auction result of USD 277,000.00 (€ 177,929.09).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Massoud Arabshahi kam im März 2020 bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 35.000,00 (€ 39.522,17) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 30.000,00 – 40.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Massoud Arabshahi auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit ohne Titel im April 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 277.000,00 (€ 177.929,09).
