Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work The Harvesters by Mary Swanzy was auctioned at Sothebys in London in November 2012. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 15,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 16,250.00 (€ 20,018.35). Admittedly, works by Mary Swanzy have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Cubist Landscape With Red Pagoda And Bridge in September 2016 with an auction result of GBP 112,500.00 (€ 130,288.97).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit The Harvesters von Mary Swanzy kam im November 2012 bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 15.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 16.250,00 (€ 20.018,35) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Mary Swanzy auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Cubist Landscape With Red Pagoda And Bridge im September 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 112.500,00 (€ 130.288,97).
