Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Czechoslovakian National Dress - Blue, Yellow and Red; National Dress - Yellow and Black by Mary Swanzy was auctioned at Christies in London in May 2007. The price achieved of GBP 360.00 (€ 529.76) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 300.00 – 500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Mary Swanzy achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Cubist Landscape With Red Pagoda And Bridge in September 2016 with an auction result of GBP 112,500.00 (€ 130,288.97).
