Auction result well in line with expectations
In November 2017 Sothebys in London held the auction Scottish Art, which included the work Still Life With Glass by Mary Nicol Neill Armour. The price achieved of GBP 6,000.00 (€ 6,810.89) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. Admittedly, works by Mary Nicol Neill Armour have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Midsummer Flowers in August 2007 with an auction result of GBP 30,000.00 (€ 44,347.92).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im November 2017 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Scottish Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Still Life With Glass von Mary Nicol Neill Armour zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 6.000,00 (€ 6.810,89) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 5.000,00 – 7.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Mary Nicol Neill Armour auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Midsummer Flowers im August 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 30.000,00 (€ 44.347,92).
