This price was achieved in the auction The George Michael Collection Evening Auction at Christies in London and exceeded the previously set upper estimate of GBP 5,000.00 many times over. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Mary McCartney; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Dreamy in red dress, for Stella McCartney Autumn campaign, 2003 sold at auction in September 2013 with the realized price of GBP 30,000.00 (€ 35,860.36).
