Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Mary Bradish Titcomb could be acquired at Christies in New York in November 2017 for an unexpectedly low price. In the American Art Online auction, the work Marblehead Harbor changed hands for USD 13,750.00 (€ 11,556.56) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 20,000.00 – 30,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Mary Bradish Titcomb - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Town Across the Water, which sold at auction in May last year for USD 32,760.00 (€ 30,528.38).
