Auction result well in line with expectations
In March 2008 Phillips in New York held the auction Under the Influence, which included this untitled work by Martin Kobe. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 150,000.00 – 200,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 157,000.00 (€ 99,335.65) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Other works by Martin Kobe have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in May 2008 the work Rudera was auctioned for USD 205,000.00 (€ 131,748.07).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im März 2008 führte Phillips in New York die Auktion Under the Influence durch, in der auch diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Martin Kobe zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von USD 150.000,00 – 200.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von USD 157.000,00 (€ 99.335,65) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Andere Arbeiten von Martin Kobe konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Mai 2008 die Arbeit Rudera für USD 205.000,00 (€ 131.748,07) versteigert.
