Auction result well in line with expectations
In October 2007 Sothebys in London held the auction Contemporary Art Evening Auction, which included this untitled work by Martin Kobe. The price achieved of GBP 72,500.00 (€ 104,114.77) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 60,000.00 – 80,000.00. Other works by Martin Kobe have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in May 2008 the work Rudera was auctioned for USD 205,000.00 (€ 131,748.07).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Oktober 2007 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Contemporary Art Evening Auction durch, in der auch diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Martin Kobe zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 72.500,00 (€ 104.114,77) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 60.000,00 – 80.000,00 angegeben worden. Andere Arbeiten von Martin Kobe konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Mai 2008 die Arbeit Rudera für USD 205.000,00 (€ 131.748,07) versteigert.
