Auction result misses estimated price range
When the work "Lowlands #07", 2008 by Martin Bogren was auctioned at Bukowski in Stockholm in April 2021, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of SEK 12,000.00 – 15,000.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for SEK 11,000.00 (€ 1,081.71). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Martin Bogren - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work "Sleepers", 2012, which sold at auction in November 2021 for SEK 30,000.00 (€ 2,926.38).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Als die Arbeit "Lowlands #07", 2008 von Martin Bogren im April 2021 bei Bukowski in Stockholm versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit einer Spanne von SEK 12.000,00 – 15.000,00 angegeben, von der nicht einmal die Untergrenze erreicht wurde - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für SEK 11.000,00 (€ 1.081,71) den Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Martin Bogren mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit "Sleepers", 2012 beobachtet, die im November 2021 für SEK 30.000,00 (€ 2.926,38) versteigert wurde.
