It achieved a price of GBP 2,040.00 (€ 2,977.74), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 36%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Markey Robinson achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Celestial Homes, Co. Kerry, Overlooking Macgillycuddy'S Reeks in May 2005 with an auction result of GBP 21,600.00 (€ 31,888.38).

Die Arbeit Figure By A Tree von Markey Robinson wurde im Mai 2006 in der Auktion Irish Sale Part II bei Christies in London versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 2.040,00 (€ 2.977,74) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 36%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Markey Robinson erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Celestial Homes, Co.
