Auction result well in line with expectations
In November 2018 Sothebys in London held the auction Made in Britain / Online, which included the work Ghost by Mark Wallinger. The price achieved of GBP 4,375.00 (€ 4,934.87) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Mark Wallinger achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work (I) The Word In The Desert I (Ii) The Word In The Desert Ii (Iii) The Word In The Desert Iii (Iv) The Word In The Desert Iv (V) The Word In The Desert V in October 2007 with an auction result of GBP 48,500.00 (€ 69,649.19).
Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit (I) The Word In The Desert I (Ii) The Word In The Desert Ii (Iii) The Word In The Desert Iii (Iv) The Word In The Desert Iv (V) The Word In The Desert V im Oktober 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 48.500,00 (€ 69.649,19).
