Auction result well in line with expectations

The price achieved of GBP 31,250.00 (€ 34,310.42) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 25,000.00 – 35,000.00. Other works by Mark Thompson have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in May 2014 the work The opening of the blast furnaces at Seaham was auctioned for GBP 50,000.00 (€ 61,451.61).
