Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work First Day of Spring, North of Winnemucca, Nevada by Mark Klett was auctioned at Christies in New York in October 2012. Here, the upper estimate of USD 800.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 875.00 (€ 675.26). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Mark Klett achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Around Toroweap Point, just before and after sundown, beginning and ending with views used by J.K. Hillers over 100 years ago, Grand Canyon in October 2018 with an auction result of USD 12,500.00 (€ 11,030.71).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit First Day of Spring, North of Winnemucca, Nevada von Mark Klett kam im Oktober 2012 bei Christies in New York zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 800,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 875,00 (€ 675,26) einen neuen Besitzer.
