Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Two works: (i) To Be Titled (Additive Painting #8); (ii) To Be Titled (Additive Painting #9) by Mark Hagen was auctioned at Phillips in an online auction in December 2019. It changed hands for a price of USD 13,750.00 (€ 12,247.26) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Mark Hagen - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work To be titled (Additive Painting #98), which sold at auction in September 2014 for USD 43,750.00 (€ 34,645.23).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Two works: (i) To Be Titled (Additive Painting #8); (ii) To Be Titled (Additive Painting #9) von Mark Hagen kam im Dezember 2019 bei Phillips in einer Online-Auktion zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von USD 13.750,00 (€ 12.247,26) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 10.000,00 – 15.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Mark Hagen mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit To be titled (Additive Painting #98) beobachtet, die im September 2014 für USD 43.750,00 (€ 34.645,23) versteigert wurde.
