Auction result well in line with expectations
In October 2006 Christies in London held the auction Nordic Art andDesign, which included the work Vilburnum (Diptych) by Marjukka Vainio. The price achieved of GBP 2,160.00 (€ 3,227.23) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 2,000.00 – 2,500.00. Other works by Marjukka Vainio have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in October 2006 the work Porcelain Flower was auctioned for GBP 3,000.00 (€ 4,482.27).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Oktober 2006 führte Christies in London die Auktion Nordic Art andDesign durch, in der auch die Arbeit Vilburnum (Diptych) von Marjukka Vainio zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 2.160,00 (€ 3.227,23) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 2.000,00 – 2.500,00 angegeben worden. Andere Arbeiten von Marjukka Vainio konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Oktober 2006 die Arbeit Porcelain Flower für GBP 3.000,00 (€ 4.482,27) versteigert.
