A top price for Marjukka Vainio - as previously expected
In October 2006 Christies in London held the auction Nordic Art andDesign, which included the work Porcelain Flower by Marjukka Vainio. The auction ended at the price of GBP 3,000.00 (€ 4,482.27), which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of GBP 2,500.00 – 3,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Porcelain Flower is the most expensive artwork by Marjukka Vainio that we have observed at auctions so far.
Ein Spitzenpreis mit Ansage
Im Oktober 2006 führte Christies in London die Auktion Nordic Art andDesign durch, in der auch die Arbeit Porcelain Flower von Marjukka Vainio zur Versteigerung kam. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von GBP 3.000,00 (€ 4.482,27) entsprach exakt dem oberen Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 2.500,00 – 3.000,00. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist Porcelain Flower das teuerste Kunstwerk von Marjukka Vainio, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
