Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Owl Of Few Words by Marjan Wouda was auctioned at Sothebys in London in October 2008. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 4,000.00 – 6,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 4,250.00 (€ 5,417.23) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Marjan Wouda - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Running Dogs, which sold at auction in March 2007 for GBP 10,200.00 (€ 15,013.23).

Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 4.000,00 – 6.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 4.250,00 (€ 5.417,23) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen.
