In January 2008 Sothebys in New York held the auction Important Old Master Paintings Including European Works of Art, which included the work Holy Family With Saint John The Baptist by Mariotto Albertinelli. The price achieved of USD 457,000.00 (€ 307,930.73) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 400,000.00 – 600,000.00.
