Sold at the upper estimate price
In June 2009 Christies in Amsterdam held the auction Post-War and Contemporary Art, which included this untitled work by Mario Negri. The auction ended at the price of EUR 3,000.00, which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of EUR 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Mario Negri achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Tutta una vita insieme in June 2018 with an auction result of EUR 42,000.00.
Zuschlag beim oberen Schätzpreis
Im Juni 2009 führte Christies in Amsterdam die Auktion Post-War and Contemporary Art durch, in der auch diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Mario Negri zur Versteigerung kam. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von EUR 3.000,00 entsprach exakt dem oberen Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 2.000,00 – 3.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Mario Negri erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Tutta una vita insieme im Juni 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 42.000,00.
