In October 2005 Christies in London held the auction Twentieth Century British Art, which included the work Street Abstract by Mario Dubsky. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 780.00 (€ 1,150.26), 56% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Mario Dubsky - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work In the Dark Descent, which sold at auction in October 2005 for GBP 2,400.00 (€ 3,539.27).

Im Oktober 2005 führte Christies in London die Auktion Twentieth Century British Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Street Abstract von Mario Dubsky zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 780,00 (€ 1.150,26) und damit 56% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Mario Dubsky mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit In the Dark Descent beobachtet, die im Oktober 2005 für GBP 2.400,00 (€ 3.539,27) versteigert wurde.
