Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Mario Dubsky could be acquired at Christies in New York in October 2006 for an unexpectedly low price. In the The House Sale auction, the work Firebrand changed hands for USD 600.00 (€ 469.74) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. Admittedly, works by Mario Dubsky have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work In the Dark Descent in October 2005 with an auction result of GBP 2,400.00 (€ 3,539.27).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Mario Dubsky konnte im Oktober 2006 bei Christies in New York für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion The House Sale wechselte die Arbeit Firebrand für USD 600,00 (€ 469,74) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 1.000,00 – 1.500,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Mario Dubsky auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit In the Dark Descent im Oktober 2005 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 2.400,00 (€ 3.539,27).
