Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Mario Dubsky could be acquired at Christies in London in October 2005 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Twentieth Century British Art auction, the work Horn changed hands for GBP 120.00 (€ 176.96) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 200.00 – 300.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Mario Dubsky achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work In the Dark Descent in October 2005 with an auction result of GBP 2,400.00 (€ 3,539.27).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Mario Dubsky konnte im Oktober 2005 bei Christies in London für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Twentieth Century British Art wechselte die Arbeit Horn für GBP 120,00 (€ 176,96) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 200,00 – 300,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Mario Dubsky erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit In the Dark Descent im Oktober 2005 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 2.400,00 (€ 3.539,27).
