Auction result misses estimated price range
In October 2005 a collector was able to acquire the work Dreamer by Mario Dubsky for GBP 264.00 (€ 389.32). This price was achieved in the auction Twentieth Century British Art at Christies in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 400.00 – 600.00 set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by Mario Dubsky have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work In the Dark Descent in October 2005 with an auction result of GBP 2,400.00 (€ 3,539.27).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Oktober 2005 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Dreamer von Mario Dubsky für GBP 264,00 (€ 389,32) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Twentieth Century British Art bei Christies in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 400,00 – 600,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Mario Dubsky auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit In the Dark Descent im Oktober 2005 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 2.400,00 (€ 3.539,27).
