Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Marinus Adrianus Koekkoek could be acquired at Christies in London in December 2021 for an unexpectedly low price. In the British and European Art auction, the work Boats on a lake - Summer landscape changed hands for GBP 5,000.00 (€ 5,963.95) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 7,000.00 – 10,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Marinus Adrianus Koekkoek achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work An extensive riverlandscape with figures unloading a stone transport in April 2003 with an auction result of EUR 71,700.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Marinus Adrianus Koekkoek konnte im Dezember 2021 bei Christies in London für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion British and European Art wechselte die Arbeit Boats on a lake - Summer landscape für GBP 5.000,00 (€ 5.963,95) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 7.000,00 – 10.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Marinus Adrianus Koekkoek erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit An extensive riverlandscape with figures unloading a stone transport im April 2003 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 71.700,00.
