In April 2019 Christies in New York held the auction European Art, which included the work A Family on a Track with a Donkey by Marinus Adrianus Koekkoek. The auction ended at the price of USD 20,000.00 (€ 17,855.55), which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of USD 15,000.00 – 20,000.00. Admittedly, works by Marinus Adrianus Koekkoek have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work An extensive riverlandscape with figures unloading a stone transport in April 2003 with an auction result of EUR 71,700.00.
Zuschlag beim oberen Schätzpreis
Im April 2019 führte Christies in New York die Auktion European Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit A Family on a Track with a Donkey von Marinus Adrianus Koekkoek zur Versteigerung kam. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von USD 20.000,00 (€ 17.855,55) entsprach exakt dem oberen Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 15.000,00 – 20.000,00.
