Auction result well in line with expectations
In December last year Artcurial held the auction Post-War & Contemporary Art, which included the work Mouvements cosmiques - 1947 by Marie Raymond. The price achieved of EUR 2,624.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Marie Raymond - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Sans Titre, which sold at auction in December 2010 for EUR 8,750.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Dezember letzten Jahres führte Artcurial die Auktion Post-War & Contemporary Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Mouvements cosmiques - 1947 von Marie Raymond zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 2.624,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 2.000,00 – 3.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Marie Raymond mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Sans Titre beobachtet, die im Dezember 2010 für EUR 8.750,00 versteigert wurde.
