In February 2007 Christies in London held the auction Christopher Wood A Very Victorian Eye, which included the work An autumnal still-life by Marian Emma Chase. The result of GBP 3,000.00 (€ 4,447.39) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Other works by Marian Emma Chase have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in February 2007 the work 'Where oxlips and the nodding violet grows' was auctioned for GBP 3,360.00 (€ 4,981.08).

Im Februar 2007 führte Christies in London die Auktion Christopher Wood A Very Victorian Eye durch, in der auch die Arbeit An autumnal still-life von Marian Emma Chase zur Versteigerung kam. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von GBP 3.000,00 (€ 4.447,39) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 3.000,00 – 5.000,00. Andere Arbeiten von Marian Emma Chase konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Februar 2007 die Arbeit 'Where oxlips and the nodding violet grows' für GBP 3.360,00 (€ 4.981,08) versteigert.
