Auction result well in line with expectations
The work 'A Literary Fiasco' by Marian Emma Chase was sold in the Christie's Interiors auction at Christies in London in February 2011. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 800.00 – 1,200.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 875.00 (€ 1,030.68) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Marian Emma Chase have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work 'Where oxlips and the nodding violet grows' in February 2007 with an auction result of GBP 3,360.00 (€ 4,981.08).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit 'A Literary Fiasco' von Marian Emma Chase wurde im Februar 2011 in der Auktion Christie's Interiors bei Christies in London versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 800,00 – 1.200,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 875,00 (€ 1.030,68) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen.
