The »bidding war« ended at EUR 11,400.00 63% above the upper estimate. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Maria Vos; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot A kitchen still life with honeycombs sold at auction in October 2007 with the realized price of EUR 18,250.00.

Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 11.400,00 und damit 63% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Maria Vos; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit A kitchen still life with honeycombs im Oktober 2007 mit dem Hammerpreis von EUR 18.250,00.
