This artwork by Maria Helena Vieira da Silva achieved an unexpectedly high price at Bukowski in Stockholm in May this year. In the Modern Art + Design auction, the work Untitled. sold for SEK 190,000.00 (€ 16,371.32) - well above the upper estimate of SEK 100,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Maria Helena Vieira da Silva achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work L'Incendie I (The Fire I) in March 2018 with an auction result of GBP 2,048,750.00 (€ 2,332,614.96).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Maria Helena Vieira da Silva erzielte im Mai diesen Jahres bei Bukowski in Stockholm einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Modern Art + Design wurde die Arbeit Untitled. für SEK 190.000,00 (€ 16.371,32) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von SEK 100.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Maria Helena Vieira da Silva erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit L'Incendie I (The Fire I) im März 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 2.048.750,00 (€ 2.332.614,96).
