Auction result well in line with expectations
The work L'amitie by Maria Chevska was auctioned at Christies in London in March 2009. The price achieved of GBP 1,062.50 (€ 1,145.75) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 800.00 – 1,200.00. Other works by Maria Chevska have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in April 2007 the work Eyeballing was auctioned for GBP 1,440.00 (€ 2,108.35).
