Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Marco Lodola could be acquired at Christies in Milan in May 2012 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Arte Moderna e Contemporanea auction, the work Assamble changed hands for EUR 1,600.00 - missing the lower end of the estimate range of EUR 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Marco Lodola - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Doppio arabesque, which sold at auction in May 2008 for EUR 5,200.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Marco Lodola konnte im Mai 2012 bei Christies in Mailand für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Arte Moderna e Contemporanea wechselte die Arbeit Assamble für EUR 1.600,00 den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 2.000,00 – 3.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Marco Lodola mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Doppio arabesque beobachtet, die im Mai 2008 für EUR 5.200,00 versteigert wurde.
